The first edition of SBP will take place in February of 2018 in Futaleufú, a town located in the northern region of Chilean Patagonia, worldwide famous for its whitewater.
Although the local whitewater community is still developing, the rivers of this place are worldwide recognized for the practice of kayaking and during the summer season, one of the main economic activities in the area is adventure tourism.
On weekdays the course will take place mainly in the water and participants will paddle the Futaleufú River and its tributaries, the Espolón and the Azul. Weekends will be reserved for extracurricular activities that complement the outdoor education curriculum.
The program will benefit 5 children with good attitude and a lot of talent and passion for kayaking. Throughout the course, they will be provided with all necessary support to make progress in the sport and become ambassadors of the program motivating and inspiring more people to lead a life full of well-being near the river.
